1. Xbox 360 console games are fairly costly, typically costing way more than the average movie.

2. Video game lifetimes are typically not measured in years, but in the instances played. The longer you play the video game, the shorter its working life.

3. Xbox 360 game CDs are not any safer than any other DVD They are easily scratched or broken, and cannot be repaired.

4. Xbox game disks could be simply misplaced or stolen.

5. The Xbox 360 disk reader itself is known to scratch console game disks after quite a few uses.

Any of these dangers are reason enough to learn about how you can burn Xbox 360 console games. These gamers who have realized how, have lowered their dangerous damage to their console game collection by copying one or two of every game for safekeeping.

A damaged or stolen game disk is costly to have to replace. A little bit of money used on a copying software program and just a bit of invested time creating copies makes good sense, and might let you save quite a lot of cash in the long run.

Learning to back up Xbox games used to be a difficult course of, usually requiring extensive information about the Xbox console system. this is no longer the case. Several companies now create software applications created specifically to make copies of Xbox 360 console games. With the right software, any video gamer can learn to burn Xbox games easily and quickly.

Do not be put off from being able to do this yourself because you think it might be too difficult. It is not. If you are able to put a blank game disk into your pc, you have all of the technical expertise that you’ll need to copy Xbox 360 games. The software program does all the labor for you. Regardless of which software you determine to use, the process is identical:

1. Set up and open the software program utility.

2. Insert the unique console game disk into the computer, and read the onscreen directions for copying it to your hard drive.

3. Remove the unique DVD disk, insert a clean DVD, and read the onscreen directions for burning the data from your hard drive to the DVD blank.

4. When told to, remove your DVD disk onto which the console game has been completely burned.

As you can see, there was no rocket science involved. Having done it once, it’s easy now to back up all your Xbox video games with out spending one penny. One currently available software application that is well-liked with quite a few gamers is known as CopyThatGame. Discover ways to copy Xbox 360 video games, cut back your risk and worry, and save your money to spend on new video games; not replacement games.

As for Copy That Game, I recommend Game Copy Wizard to you.

The teenagers of today spend a substantial amount of their time today playing games; be it online or on their consoles and PC through DVDs. Most of them though, tend to be attracted towards online gaming due to its great game play, easy user interface and addictive entertainment. Often being free of cost, online gaming has, since its advent, gained a huge fan following. What started off as a source of entertainment to while away free time is now fast transforming into an addiction. The whole lot of options made available in each game serve to attract users’ attention, and keep it for a considerable time; the result often is that they become addicted to a particular game. The fascination of them knows no bounds.

So, what exactly is it about an online game that grabs the attention of youth the world over? The answer is a diverse but a very obvious one. Here’s what we think is contributing to the growth of this addiction.

- The competitive nature of every online game. The fact that everyone can view scores and compare them with the best online, gives every person a reason to try getting better and better to somehow beat that one top scorer. This serves to engage their attention to the game unlike anything else, and has vital in the success of online gaming.

- In case a storyline or level based game, the thirst to get to the top at every level plays a crucial role in engaging the user’s attention. Each user tends to concentrate on the game being played in an effort to get to the most difficult level and win it. Some don’t even bother taking a break between levels, and stay constantly glued to their computer screens.

- The role-playing games available online make a young player imagine themselves as the character they are impersonating in the game, with the result that the virtual world becomes the world that they live it, and substantial effort is required to pull them back to the real world once they turn on their computers to play such a game.

- The games that have all levels locked, as is Angry Birds by Rovio Mobile, tend to engage the users’ attention by making them wish for unlocking all levels. This anticipation results in a knack for playing continuously till one set of levels has been cleared, and is a major ace in the developer’s basket to mint money.

- Online gaming, being connected to a server spread across the world, enables everyone to interact with many other gamers, thus making it simpler for them to find friends, compete with them, and have the time of their lives. This applies specifically to the isolated youngsters that have few friends in their school or college, because they find better company and gain confidence through such virtual contacts.

The cause for such addiction being seen in the youth of today for gaming, particularly online gaming, is being debated about. Some say it’s the parents fault who allow kids computers at young ages when they haven’t yet learned to sort out their priorities while others, blame it to the youth because most of them tend to ignore studies given half a chance, and that chance is given by a suitably addictive online game on one of their favorite online gaming portal.

Xbox’s sales continue to keep growing everyday. For those who currently own an Xbox system, you may have encountered first hand how pricey these games are. The price of purchasing new video games, or even worse replacing broken ones, is becoming so costly that you as well as other gamers have started to recognize the need for learning how to back up Xbox games.

These games are delicate, and are simply DVD disks. They scratch very easily, they crack easily, plus they are easily misplaced or stolen. All you have to to do is drop a game on the floor to damage it enough that it results in being unplayable. To eliminate these types of threats, you’ve got no other options but to back up Xbox games to free yourself from the fear of replacing them should they be lost or broken.

You may be aware, if you have tried this with your regular burning software program, that they can’t be backed up without having a special program because of the manufacturer’s built-in copy defense system. Many software program designers realized this issue for gamers and created specific computer software that will override this copy defense and allow you to back up your games.

Here are a few items that you must have to be able to do this:

* A game back up software program.

* A laptop or computer with a DVD-R drive.

* A few DVD-R disks.

When you have obtained all the required equipment and materials, you can begin to back up Xbox games. The task is relatively simple, and it is generally identical regardless of the software you choose to work with.

1. Put in the game back up program into your PC, and boot it up.

2. Place the first game to be backed up, and continue with the onscreen directions.

3. When prompted, take out the game and place a DVD-R disk, and continue with the onscreen directions.

4. When prompted, take out the now completed back up of your game.

Now you can store away your genuine game in a safe place, and keep your back up Xbox games for regular usage. Now that you’ve discovered how to do this, you’ll be able to back up all your games. By eliminating the chance of damage to your genuine games, you won’t have to spend money on replacing broken or stolen games.

Are you curious as to how to backup 360 games? If you’re like me you’ve struggled with game discs getting scratched, lost or even stolen. It’s a pretty crappy feeling when the $60 game you just bought is essentially useless.

The answer to this problem is a specialized software package that shows you how to backup 360 games quickly and easily. This software allows you to make identical backups of the games you already own to any writable CD or DVD media. The mistake many people make is they try to copy their game discs using the standard DVD/CD burning software already installed on their computers, but this doesn’t work. Every game has encrypted copy protection safe guards on it to prevent dubious individuals from making copies of games. You need specialized software to break the encryption so that you can backup your games.

I’m not talking about making illegal copies for re-sale or downloading games from the net either. Doing either of these things are illegal and immoral. However, if you own the game you have the right to make additional copies for your own personal use. After all, if your original game disc gets lost, stolen or simply destroyed, it’s nice to have a backup copy nearby that you can just plop into your console.

Like everyone else, I’m always looking for a good deal. So the first thing I did was look for software that showed me how to backup 360 games….for free. There’s tons of “free” software on the net that promises to show you how to backup your games, but most of it is bogus. The truth is, if you attempt to download any of the so called “free software” 9 times out of 10 you’ll also download an unfriendly virus as well. I know this because it’s happened to me (on several occasions during my search).

I personally have “lost” so many games over the years that I’ve lost track. Our cat used a couple as a scratching post, a relatives child destroyed 1 or 2, and one game simply disappeared and hasn’t been seen since. After the last scratched game, I became determined to find an easy to use and reliable software that would give me the ability to backup my 360 games and I’m happy to say I did.

This software will not only show you how to backup 360 games, but it will also show you how to backup games for Xbox, PS2, PS3, Nintendo Wii, Gamecube, and even Dreamcast. Copying is as simple as putting the game disc in your computer launching the software, clicking a few buttons, putting the blank DVD or CD into your computer and then….done! You now have an exact copy of your original game disc. The whole process only takes a few minutes.

On one separate occasion I did have an issue where after I burned a DVD, the sound cut out while I was playing. However, I think this may have been due to my DVD burner improperly burning the disc. I re-burned the disc and it was fine. Since then, I’ve backed up dozens of games and each one has worked flawlessly.

By using this software and learning how to backup 360 games you never have to worry about your games being scratched, stolen or lost. If any of these things happen to your game discs, you can just pull out a backup copy and pick up right where you left off. I’d highly recommend this software to anyone looking for a quick and easy way to back up their games.

Burn Video Games the Simple Way

Video game technology over the past 2 decades has seen more market groups joining in on all the fun. Market groups for video games now span the gambit of: age, gender, culture, ethnicity and income bracket. Games now form a main part of family home entertainment.

Once one is the owner of an original video game, whether DVD-ROM or CD-ROM, it is suggested that he/ she creates copies of the original game, and use one of those copy discs whenever they are ready to play a game. It is further suggested that the originals be stored away in a safe place as discs are breakable and easily scratched.

People have often speculated if the CDs and DVDs they copy at home will get them sued. The practice of copying or “burning” discs is not illegal. Once games are purchased legitimately, through legitimate sources, it is acceptable to burn games, as long as they will be for personal use.

Though there is logic in protecting ones property, the process of copying game data disc comes with its complications. In order to burn an original disc, you must first get past the encryption, which is on the disc. The encryption is a code that is embedded in the video game to prevent illegal or improper duplication.

Today, there is a wide variety of games and video consoles including: Nintendo, Xbox360, Play Station and Wii- not to mention the games developed for personal computers like “The Age of Empires” for example. When you add to these game cartridges for hand-held game consoles like Siim, you might want to hold your head: because it might spin off its axis!

Video games make great gift for kids of all ages: 5-50!

The greatest drawback video game software however is their vulnerability to theft and damage. These games are mainly manufactured in CD or DVD format, making the odds greater that something might happen to warp the original disc, causing the owner to have to invest in replacing the lost or stolen game with a new one bought at the store. Why go to that expense however, when you can burn video games.

Back-up software is available almost everywhere these games and game consoles are sold. This software is designed to decode any encryption, hence enabling copies of the game disc (whether CD-ROM or DVD-ROM) to be made.

There are also free versions of this “burn” software available online; one just has to know how to search, and which sites to trust.

Video games are worth every penny of the listed price for the entertainment they deliver with their 3-dimensional, virtual landscapes. However, no one can afford to spend unnecessarily when an accident could have been avoided.

Backup Games Before it is Too Late – I Was Lucky

I didn’t think too much about trying to backup my 360 games, or any games for that matter. I have always thought that I took good care of my game discs. I feel that I take good care of all my CD’s and DVD’s actually. Well I had a wakeup call that made me think, “I need to backup my games.” One night as I prepared to battle my gals son, Ben, I pulled out my game from the case, and to my surprise there were 2 cracks coming out from the center of the disc, starting from the small hole in the middle. I was pretty nervous and showed it to Ben. Now we were both nervous.

Would it play? I had not made a backup of my game, like I said, never thought I had a need. My tune changed right then and there. Luckily the game did play, which is good, because that means I could make a backup game DVD of it. Ben at his young age has learned a lesson as well, to backup your games, because you never know. He enjoys playing on his Xbox 360 as well and has realized that we need to backup his 360 games as well, so he will not have to worry about them either. We have found that a downloadable software program called Easy Backup Wizard does a great job of making backups of our games. After this issue with my game, we also thought that there could be other good reasons to make copies of your games. What if a sister or brother got mad at you and wanted to hurt you by damaging/destroying your game? Or a girlfriend got ticked off at you? They may want to hurt you where it counts. Maybe even the family pet, they do chew up your homework after all, right?!

We found the great thing about this software, besides it is so easy to use, is that you can backup CD’s and DVD’s, Wii, PS2, and PS3, Xbox, and of course Xbox 360 games. How about the old Dreamcast or GameCube? Yep those too. It is very comforting now to know that I have an extra copy of the games and movies I love. Wouldn’t you like to have that peace too? I bet you would. I have no doubt that spending a few dollars on the software, will be well worth it.

I thought what happened to me was important enough to share with others that I made a site, with a little video I shot not too long after my story happened. I invite you to check it out.
